ThinkPad Stress Tests
Laptops are either rugged or elegant. A ThinkPad looks like a gorgeous bento box yet it’s built to survive drops, spills, open flames, freezing cold, dust, dirt, and the occasional 14-hour video conference.
These stress tests were performed on working ThinkPads without any CGI. Yes, those concrete steps really did break.
TARGET
A visual concept for print, web and stores. We combined one item of clothing and one object from the housewares department to create unique fashion looks. The Bride execution got in CA.
Lenovo IDs
We created dozens of brand films for Lenovo. Beyond broadcast and social, they have hundreds of events around the world every year and needed cool art for big screens. Most of the films were created internally at the agency with an integrated design group.
TheSmarterCity
What do you do when the brief says to redecorate a dusty briefing center for mayors and other city leaders in Washington DC? Come up with an idea that works in conferences, events, exhibits, mobile devices, and ginormous interactive touch walls installed at airports around the world.
This interactive experience allows users to experiment with a virtual city to better understand how big data and analytics change the way its citizens live, work and play. It covered transportation, energy, healthcare, education, and all the other systems that matter most.
As a content platform, TheSmarterCity reached our audience in advertising, digital and at live events on six continents.

You know, we’re not sure. This thing went on for three years and we remember someone saying, “23 awards”. The client that supported it was named one of the “50 Most Essential IBMers” that year and was promoted. That’s better than any trophy.
